The Department of Health's decision to recall a recent circular on revised COVID-19 Contact Tracing, Quarantine and Isolation protocols, has been met with mixed reactions. In a statement, the Department on Tuesday that the reason for the revision was based on a number of scientific factors including the fact that, most people have vaccinated with at least one dose and developed some level of immunity. This has contributed to the current low hospitalisation and high recovery rates. The department says it has been inundated with inquiries and comments since the release of the revised protocols.
