 The Judicial Service Commission is meeting on Monday on whether or not to recommend the suspension of Judge Hlophe or not. Hlophe has given the JSC, speaker of the national assembly President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Justice minister until end of business today to file their replying affidavits whether or not they intend to oppose his interdict to stop the president from suspending him. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to reporter, Mercedes Besent.

 Former Tembisa police officer, Nomia Ndlovu, has testified that she didn't kill her niece, Zanele Motha, but had tried to save her life by rushing her to hospital on the night of her death. Ndlovu is being cross examined at the High Court in Johannesburg where  she's standing trial for the killing of her boyfriend and five of her family members. She is also alleged to have fraudulently benefited from insurance claims amounting to over 1.4 million rand. Ndlovu was arrested in 2018 after an alleged hitman informed the police that she had recruited him to kill her sister and five children. The police set up a sting operation and captured Ndlovu giving such instructions on camera. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to reporter Sashin Naidoo and first asked him the latest coming out of court...

ARTS: Khuzani Bo is a new reality TV show which will premiere on SABC 1 on 26 September at 5:30 in the afternoon. The show follows the life of Maskandi artist Khuzani Mpungose whose song titled Ijele received over a million votes to win song of the year on Ukhozi FM earlier this year. He’s also the first Maskandi artist to fill up Moses Mabhida Stadium. We now speak to the executive producer and director of the show, Legend Manqele.
