The council of the Fetakgomo-Tubatse local municipality has taken a resolution to purchase a privately owned civic centre building at a cost of 135 million rand. The property in Burgersfort is owned by Tubatse Properties. The municipality will pay 50 million rand deposit and a monthly instalment of nearly three-million rand for a period of three years. Meanwhile political parties and community structures are concerned about the high price of the building as they believe that the sales price has been inflated. We spoke to our reporter, Michael Makungo.

TheTakeOffInterview| Mbali Bhengu, lost her job during the Covid-19 pandemic, and almost losing everything. She started from scratch, opening an agency and publishing a book, titled SELF-ISH to guide other individuals and entrepreneurs on succeeding within this world during and post the pandemic.

In SELF-ISH, Bhengu shares all her hard-earned insights on the necessity of personal growth as an entrepreneur, and how to achieve that personal growth in a way that benefits both the individual and the business.
SELF-ISH also touches on the dark side of starting your own business, not shying away from the controversial underbelly of her craft and unpacking uncomfortable subjects such as Black Tax and BBE.
Bhengu tackles the difficulty of staying grounded and maintaining your integrity in her section, “Fame and Glory”, and shares the ways in which “Ringleaders” and “Bullshitters” manifest - and can be handled.

The Glenzito Superdrive is designed to be fun, easy with a bit of va va voom.
