A car-safety organisation Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) has revealed a double-standards when it comes to car safety levels in Africa. This follows a shocking crash test that proved an SA-made bakkie's safety performance is vastly inferior to that of a five-year-old European version of the vehicle. In this instancea a locally built 2018 Nissan NP300 Hardbodyhad failed in a crash test against a second-hand 2015 Euro-spec Nissan Navara NP300. • The Ndlovu Youth Choir Hangs Out With Phat Joe & The Family
#FamilyInterview| One of the most inspiring entertainment stories of 2019 is that of the Ndlovu Youth Choir and their incredible voices being recognised all over the world.

The choir shot to international stardom on the reality show America’s Got Talent, which is in its 14th season. They were beaten for top honours by American singer Kodi Lee, but they signed with Sony Music Entertainment, which shares a global joint venture with reality-TV show judge Simon Cowell’s company, Syco Entertainment.

They have released an 11-track album  ‘Africa ‘ in December last year
It includes an inspirational repertoire of South African and international tracks, such as Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse's hit Burnout, Higher Love by Steve Winwood, Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas and U2's Beautiful Day.
It also features choir’s first original song, Believe, written by Ralf Schmitt, the group's conductor and artistic director

Ndlovu's incredible 2019 was preceded by a significant moment in the latter half of the previous year on 15 October 2018 when everything changed.
That's when Grammy-winning South African musician WOUTER KELLERMAN uploaded a video of himself and the young, vibrant group performing a Zulu version of Ed Sheeran's hit song Shape of You and it went viral, and the producers of reality competition of America's Got Talent asked them to audition for the 2019 season of the show after watching it.
The Ndlovu Choir was established in Moutse Valley in rural Limpopo, over a decade ago in January 2009.
Formed by the Ndlovu Care Group's child care community programme to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds the same opportunities as their more advantaged counterparts
