Disgruntled prosecutors say they have tried numerous times to have a meeting with the National Director of Public Prosecutions, Shamila Batohi but she could not avail herself. They say hence today they decided to march to NDPP's offices in Pretoria to hand over their memorandum of grievances. Representatives from each province were chosen to take the memorandum to the NDPP, and the memorandum will deal with salary increases, promotions and other issues.

Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan has apologised to South Africans for the inconvenience caused by the current load shedding incidents and says it will take some time to solve the crisis. Gordhan says more technicians have also been assigned to Mozambique to manage the cut in power supply to South Africa. Gordhan has acknowledged that Eskom has not communicated sufficiently with the public. Gordhan, was speaking at a media breifing in Rosebank.

What was meant to be a campaign trail with commuters by President Cyril Ramaphosa ended up being a disaster when he got stuck for almost 3 hours on a journey that was meant to be 45 minutes. President Ramaphosa was on his way to Tshwane to interact with commuters during a train ride from Mabopane to Pretoria City centre.

An ANC mayor from one of the municipalities in southern KwaZulu-Natal will appear in court tomorrow . The ANC mayor was arrested yesterday by the police's national task team investigating political killings in the province. The senior party leader in the province is believed to be linked to the murder of former ANCYL Secretary General - Sindiso Magaqa - in 2017. Meanwhile, the ANC in the province has denied not following up on information given by whistle blowers and also not providing security for the whistle blowers especially in the Sindiso Magaqa case and other corruption cases.

British MPs will vote today on a No Deal Brexit after they again rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal last night.May was again heavily defeated with MPs rejecting her Brexit plans by 391 to 242. If MPs vote against no deal, they would then go on to a further vote tomorrow on a Brexit delay. Meanwhile South Africa may bear the brunt economically if the United Kingdom (UK) leaves the European Union (EU). The UK will cease to be party to the EU's free trade and investment agreements with some 70 countries and SA stands to be affected by this. A child-headed family from Boitumelo township in the Vaal has accused the police of not doing enough to bring to justice the man, who allegedly murdered their sister, Palesa Mokhele. They say 24-year-old Mokhele was allegedly killed by her boyfriend in May last year -- around the same time Karabo Mokoena was brutally murdered by her boyfriend -- Sandile Mantsoe. The Mokhele's says the suspect is known to them and still roams the streets of Boitumelo township.

In the wake of the so-called resurrection there are fresh allegations against Prophet Alph Lukau's Alleluia Ministries International in Sandton north of Johannesburg. It's emerged that some congregants are being used to fake illnesses and disability during sermons to stage miracles.

SABC CEO Madoda Mxakwe says cash flow is depleted at the public broadcaster and they have been engaging with the Department of Communications. He says figures shows that SABC will be in factual solvency by end of March. At the end of February creditor's were owed R1.4 billion including Supersport, SAMRO and Sentech. SABC Executives are appearing in Parliament before the Communications Committee over its turnaround strategy.
