A presidential decree was published in the Official Gazette of the Union today (14) that aims to make Timemania more attractive to fans who place bets on this lottery modality and, consequently, bring more benefits to football clubs.
By amending Decree No. 6,187 – published in August 2007, regulating Timemania and presenting criteria for participation and adhesion of professional football clubs, in order to pay debts to the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) in installments.
Decree No. 10,941, published today, provides that half of the funds will be divided equally between the 80 clubs in the A, B, C series and professional football teams qualified in the ranking of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
The other half will be allocated to clubs according to the proportion of bets indicated as Team of the Heart in each contest, which will allow the fan to help the club of their choice.
According to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, the expectation is that, with the change, there will be greater engagement and participation of football clubs in the dissemination of Timemania to their fans who, by making the bet, contribute to the team. of your choice.
“The change will be important especially for the periodic updating of participating sports clubs, at the same time it will represent a help for clubs with low collection capacity”, informed, in a note, the Secretariat.
