  • August 2026: SHAME with Shy Trans & Thanna

Welcome to the very much delayed August episode of Radio AvA!

That's right, another record breaking feat of tardiness from some overworked whores! Which is fitting as this episode is all about shame. Here's a very emotional hour to carry you all through from the pride hangover crash that signals the end of summer.

We were so honoured to be joined by two new guests Shy Trans & Thanna.

Shy shared her incredible story of overcoming being outed as HIV positive by a fellow content creator and the way she has turned this into a sparkling opportunity for advocating for the HIV positive community and educating people about U=U, undetectable equals untransmittable. It's a deeply emotional conversation covering transphobic abuse in the sw industry, mental health and living long term with HIV.

Thanna also joined us to talk about her journey in sex work in her 40's, mental health, psychosis and schizophrenia, ageing, body image and intense submissive kink practices that will delights & inspire you! Thanna reached out to us as a listener of the show & we were so so happy to have her on.

To finish we had a little bit of a wankers corner where Thanna shared a very fun & silly anecdote.

As always please do let us know what you think! As always we would love to hear from you & we would love to have swers on the radio <3 xoxox

  • July Part Two 2026: Babes vs The Manosphere w Cyber Harlot & Alexandra

It’s finally here, the sex work response to The Manosphere you have been waiting for, Radio AvA presents Babes vs The Manosphere with host Lolly, and very special guests Cyber Harlot & radio regular Alexandra.

    INTRO

8:00 Cyber harlot vs The Manosphere deep dive

27:40 The Manosphere hot topics w Lolly & Alexandra

    52:15 The Wankers Corner

After a chaotic start we get into it all, Andrew Tate’s promotion of the ‘Lover Boy’ trafficking method, wannabe content managers, selling sex as misogyny rises, the often empty promise of online work & exactly what it is we feel is funnelling so many men into these hateful spaces.

We talk extensively about Bonny Blue, debate just how right wing she truly is, tear apart the fixation with women’s “purity” & unsurprisingly conclude there’s no better life then being a unapologetic radical whore.

Lolly presented a bit for the Wankers Corner, it’s nothing special, but Alexandra’s response makes it unforgettable. “It’s within the hour” is something I’m sure we will all be quoting all summer long.

As always, if you are a sex worker or someone with lived experience of sex work & would like to be on the show, please do get in touch with us, we would love to meet you!

  • July Part One 2026: The Racial Justice for SWers Project w Mutsa +Julian

Welcome to our July Episode of radio AvA! This is only Part One!

“Racism is a distraction” Toni Morrison

This month we were joined by Mutsa, Julian & Alexandra even joined in for the very end.

Mutsa let us know everything about The Racial Justice for SWers Project at NUM (National Ugly Mugs), how they are creating new methods of collective community researching, looking to create material change for racialised sex workers and how you can be involved in this project!

As always though, it is Radio AvA, so we made a dozen or so digressions into the limitations of academia, the legal meaning of “trafficking”, how attitudes to sex work have changed generationally & non-profits commodification of activism.

The episode is finished off with a call in Wankers Corner segment from friend to the show Ryan. If you are a worker, you are always welcome to call in with a story for wankers, just email or DM us to find out how xoxo

Look out for July Part 2!  xoxo

  • June 2026: Midsummer Melodies with Alexandra of THORN

PIG CORE, RIOT GIRL POLITICS IN OUR 30’S & 40’S, GEEZING OUT, ABSURDLY SOFT CORE, REFUSING TO BE GAY FOR PAY, TIPPED IN GARBAGE, SEVERE FROG FACE, HUMILIATION AT EVERY CORNER BUT WE JUST COME OUT CLOSER, COOLER & MORE RADICAL

    Time Stamps:
    1:57 THORN ZINE
    24:30 ‘OnlyFans: Inside the Machine’
53:50 The EHRC (Equality & Human Rights Commission) Code of Practice
    1:04:35 Wankers Corner

Happy midsummer to all the hustlers and ONLY the hustlers

al (the host previously known as dolly/lolly) was joined by bestie Alexandra M of THORN (Trans Hookers Resistance Network) to discuss an assortment of hot topics, you’re gonna laugh a lot as well as experiencing that pit of despair that rises whenever we confront the current rise in fascism, censorship & purity culture.

Alexandra provided an in depth presentation on THORN’s new zine ‘What Does it Mean to be Radical in our Current Times’, outlining the many hurdles experienced with a printer, how radicalism has changes since her first pride parade in 1999 Sao Paulo, the pitfalls of visibility & just how proud we are of this zine featuring 100% trans s*x work writing & art. If you are in London you can get it from The People’s Letters in Bethnal Green or if you aren’t local plz DM us & we can arrange for online payment & postage.

The group chats were popping off as there was another morally loaded BBC documentary exploring exploitation & s*x work, this time focusing on online work. We reviewed the sensationalist show ‘OnlyFans: Inside the Machine’, so if you’ve watched it you can rage with us & if you haven’t we tell you everything you need to know.

We also provide an update on The EHRC (Equality & Human Rights Commission) Code of Practice and the implications of it for trans people. It’s a tough listen, so if you’re not up for it that’s understandable.

To finish off the episode it’s one of the funniest episodes of the wankers corner I have experienced in quite some time. Alexandra does an extremely dramatic reading of an illicit customs request & al has some sordid tales as usual ripe with subjugation, c0ke & depravity, throughout which Alexandra provides a snorting/oinking tutorial.

Welcome to our April episode of Radio AvA! Made possible by a collaboration between Kiran & Vanita from VAMP & Saheli Sangh & Jo Hemlatha.

Real Radio AvA heads will know we previously released an introduction to this episode back in October 2025, well this is the interview we primed you for & know you have been waiting for.

We were joined by Kiran & Vanita who are both sex work organisers & activists based in West India.

They talked with Lolly about the activist & community work that they do & have been doing since the 90’s, how HIV & AIDS activism is entwined with SW activism, overcoming stigma, celebrating SW pride, supporting the undocumented, substance use in the community & so much more. It’s a fascinating talk that I know will give you razor focus for your next community action, protest or act of mutual aid.

As always, Love + Soidarity xoxo

  • March 2026: Fatness & Sex Work with Pisces

This month we were delighted to welcome Pisces back (after a very long hiatus) to discuss the vast subject of sex work & fatness.

In the age of Ozempic fuelled body fascism we came together as fat babes to talk about exactly what it means to be fat & selling sex. We talked about all the not so fun stuff like fatphobia in the industry, larger bodies being pushed out of public life & what it means to be someone’s fetish as well as very joyful topics like being free of diet culture, sexualising the fat body & how being fat sex worker feels like fat revenge.

The conversation covered an array of cultural topics & figures from Lizzo, heroin chic, feederism documentaries on Channel 4 from the 00’s, Beth Ditto, Tess Holiday, dating app culture, the Kardashians & the ever-changing meaning of BBW.

I really had the feeling while relistening to this that this is only the start of the conversation, so if you feel like there is something around sex work & fatness that we didn’t talk about that you would like to talk about please get in touch.

    DM or email [email protected]

✨🌹Are you ready for the THORN takeover episode? 🌹✨It’s well into 2026 & despite the never ending horrors. Lolly, Julian & Alex from @thornonline gathered together to bring you some trans h00ker angst & absurdity. After processing some of the recent global affairs & updating our listeners on THORN’s resent progress (events, socials, activism oh my!) we moved on to a few hot topics. We talked A LOT about diy hrt 🫀Our personal stories (ranging historically from the early 00’s - 2026), how it has affected our sw journeys, barriers to accessing healthcare & why it’s just so radical to take gender into our own hands! ❤️ ((don’t forget to practice harm reduction whenever possible & check out Dean St & CliniQ to get advice & your bloodwork done)) We also talked about an internet incident involving false letters from the FBI regarding “radical gender ideology”. We used this as a starting point to talk about the way we hold our community accountable, making mistakes & being an abolitionist wherever possible. As always, please let us know what you think! 💌 xoxox

Welcome to our final episode of Radio Ava for 2025! We were honoured to be joined by Stoness (@stoness______) a writer, comedian and deeply introspective hustler to discuss all things sex work and care. What a way to end the year! The conversation between Lolly & Stoness goes down a whole host of digressions including hooking part time (allegedly allegedly), the potential/imminent/current gentrification of sex work, why language matters, why we are so obsessed with naming sex work as anything other then sex work, ableism and how it affects both the client and the worker and much much more! Keep your eyes peeled to The Camden People's Theatre, where Stoness has an upcoming show that will be announced soon. As always, please have a listen & let us know what you think.

  • October 2025: PART 1- Jo Hemlatha Introduces VAMP & Saheli Sangh

Hello from the depths of London’s winter! What a fascinating delight we have for you this month. Writer, anthropologist & facilitator Jo Hemlatha joined Lolly in the studio for an introduction (yes, this is only part 1!) to upcoming interviews with activist from the sex workers rights movements in Northern India VAMP & Saheli Sangh. Jo provides an extremely comprehensive introduction to the political & social climate around sex work in India, the incredible activism that takes place & how sex work within India has been represented internationally. It’s a long, but very much nourishing discussion that digresses down many paths including conflict resolution within social justice movements, poor media representations of sex work in India & why autism can contribute towards becoming an activist. https://waytojo.com As always enjoy! And please do let us know what you think 💌
