Speaking about Justification, we consider the "once for all" nature of Christ's redemptive work on the cross. In our last broadcast, we ended by leaving poor Jonah in the belly of a great fish, after having been cast overboard for bringing Divine judgment upon himself and the crew of the ship he was on. Jonah is an interesting book. In this short writing, we learn of God's judgment for sin but also His mercy and kindness when nations repent. One proverbial phrase that scripture uses to warn against allowing sin to take root in our lives is "a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."
