Through a carefully selected blend of sounds and styles, Coffee & Reset creates a listening experience designed to inspire calm, focus, and reflection.

Curated by R’hllor Ryu (Themba Ngwenyeni-Matu), the series explores the rich intersection of genres including Lo-Fi, Chill Hop, Instrumental Hip Hop, Jazz Hop, Soulful Beats, Ambient Grooves, and other experimental sounds. Each episode is thoughtfully assembled to create a seamless journey where diverse musical influences meet a shared atmosphere of relaxation and creativity.

More than a music series, Coffee & Reset embodies the mission of ChillMedicx—to provide a platform where independent and emerging artists can be discovered, appreciated, and celebrated. By bringing together talent from different backgrounds and musical disciplines, the series highlights the depth and diversity of the contemporary independent music scene.

Whether you're enjoying a quiet morning coffee, working on a creative project, studying, travelling, or simply taking a moment for yourself, Coffee & Reset offers a soundtrack that encourages listeners to slow down and embrace the present moment.

Through every episode, ChillMedicx continues to build a community around authentic artistry, meaningful expression, and the belief that music has the power to heal, connect, and inspire.

Lost Dialogue — Volume 2: The Curator’s Pulse

The Lost Dialogue series returns with its second volume, anchored in the immersive world of deep house and guided by a curator who understands that music is more than sound—it’s a language of feeling.

DeepVirus, originally from Orange Farm, steps into this volume not just as a DJ, but as a seeker of depth. With an ear open to all genres, it was the underground that ultimately became home. And once there, there was no turning back—only a constant pursuit. Digging and digging, chasing something real. Because the deeper you go, the deeper the music reveals itself.

That philosophy lives at the core of The Curator’s Pulse.

Built on the foundation of deep house, the mixtape moves with a steady, hypnotic rhythm. Warm basslines anchor each transition, while layered textures stretch across time, creating a meditative flow. It’s not about peaks or spectacle—it’s about continuity, mood, and emotional resonance.

DeepVirus curates with intention. Each track feels placed, not just played. The influence of the underground is clear in the selection—sounds that prioritize depth over popularity, grooves that speak quietly but carry weight. The transitions are smooth, almost unnoticeable, allowing the listener to drift without interruption.

There’s a quiet power in this approach. The mixtape doesn’t demand attention—it invites presence. And within that space, something shifts. The listener is drawn inward, reconnecting with thoughts and emotions that often go unheard.

In Lost Dialogue — Volume 02: The Curator’s Pulse, deep house becomes more than a genre. It becomes a form of reflection. A continuation of a conversation that doesn’t need words—only rhythm, timing, and feeling.

DeepVirus doesn’t just play music.

He follows the pulse beneath it.

And in this volume, that pulse leads deeper than ever before.

Message from The Vanguard — R’hllor Ryu:

To DeepVirus,

Your contribution to Lost Dialogue is deeply appreciated. Through your curation, you have not only shaped sound, but extended the language of this series into something more felt than spoken. Thank you for bringing your depth, your discipline, and your ear for the underground into this volume. The Pulse carries your imprint.

ChillMedicx Radio proudly introduces a new sonic journey for 2026: Lost Dialogue — a series dedicated to the art of musical storytelling through carefully curated mixes.

This pilot edition marks the first guest mix presented by ChillMedicx and opens the gateway for future volumes featuring a diverse range of deejays, curators, and producers, each bringing their own sonic language across multiple genres and musical traditions.

For Volume One, ChillMedicx welcomes Thabang Monokeng, a selector from Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, whose deep sensitivity to sound and emotion shapes a mix that speaks directly to the spirit.

A message on this tape from the Vanguard of ChillMedicx, R’hllor Ryu aka DaAncient Ryu (Themba Ngwenyeni-Matu):

This tape is a signal from a wounded star,

frequencies drifting through a restless galaxy

where melodies fall like stardust on wandering souls.

Behind these selections stands a craftsman—

Thabang Monokeng—

shaping sound like constellations in the dark,

patiently aligning notes that touch the spirit.

Pain circles the heart like distant planets,

yet every rhythm bends gravity,

pulling lost fragments of the self back home.

In this cosmic echo,

souls remember their light.

Lost Dialogue is more than a mix series.

It is a meeting point between sound, memory, and the unseen conversations within the soul.

This might not be the exact sequel of the theme, however, it contains few poetical sentiments that reflects the soul touching components that edges the heart soul to be stronger than ever. The below poem goes hand in hand with this compilation in loving way than displaying dispair.

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night

By Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,

Old age should burn and rage at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,

Because their words had forked no lightning they

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright

Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,

And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight

Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,

Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

This poem is dedicated to my dad, Piet "Tosh" Matu who recenlty departed this Earth on Friday afternoon in November 17, 2023.

Serenade

By Djuna Barnes - 1892-1982

Three paces down the shore, low sounds the lute,

The better that my longing you may know;

I’m not asking you to come,

But—can’t you go?

Three words, “I love you,” and the whole is said—

The greatness of it throbs from sun to sun;

I’m not asking you to walk,

But—can’t you run?

Three paces in the moonlight’s glow I stand,

And here within the twilight beats my heart.

I’m not asking you to finish,

But—to start.

Essence by O Sudhir Janardhanan

Slick in love’s sweat

you arise from bed

to wash away

all aromas of my,

soaked in passion,

presence on you.

The water,

scented by my ardour

runs off coloured

with soap suds.

Every time,

you tiptoe away

to rinse off my present.

I smell, as you walk-in again,

the lingering fragrance

of all that you left behind

in your wake...

love, passion, fervour, craze

and the scream,

culminating we make.
