Radio connection live

We take your radios and devices back in time to see how radio stations in the African-American culture explored and energize the people.

It is time for our annual Radio Connection Live black history, special! So sit back, relax, and enjoy some hidden gems.

A busy Radio Connection Live is ready!

Featuring a market trip to Washington DC where preston attended his first National Federation of the Blind Washington seminar last week, we also take a listen to a long time running morning show in Southwest Florida, and even some thoughts on Tampa Bay’s alternative sports destination in town.

Happy late Groundhog Day from Radio Connection Live!

That’s right, we’re going to take a trip to legendary small town, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and enjoy the Groundhog Day ceremonies.

We also have some Radio news regarding Salem‘s Christian ownership, and a fan or not a fan to round out the program.

Folks, we have a busy Radio Connection Live heading your way. As we talk about snow in Tallahassee and Baltimore, yes, it did snow in Florida and we have full coverage coming up.

We also get to listen to Ryan Cameron in Atlanta do a talk show on a music station owned by Radio one?

Yes, that did happen so we’ll featured for you that as well.

Finally, we get a little history lesson regarding Radio nets and how radio stations used them back in the day and what mean.

All of this and at the attached audio clip!

We pay tribute to a great civil rights leader, Martin Luther King. We get to listen to some audio that Tim recorded for us a couple years ago, and our host Jamey did find some exceptional coverage via WCCO in Minneapolis.

We will share with you the full coverage on our social media and YouTube channel.

Make it a good and safe week!

We covered the Los Angeles wildfires this week on Radio Connection Live, and even talk about a bilingual adult contemporary station that launched in New York.

Please continue to keep all in your thoughts and prayers.

Happy new year!

And welcome to a brand new season of Radio connection live.

This time around we keep you up-to-date on Radio news from our vacation, we pay tribute to Heather Jennings, the queen of Florida morning radio, and we also give you coverage of a tragic truck massacre New Orleans just a few days ago on New Year’s Day.

If you’re wondering how we manage to get an interview with the queen of Baltimore Radio in 2021 take a lesson back to see how this all got done.

Even though Lori is still not on the air waves we still appreciate her work and appreciate her willingness to come on and talk with us at Radio Connection Live.

Listen

Folks, I realize we are on our holiday vacation, but we have a couple special presents coming your way! Our very own contributor or shall we say one of them, Chris, has graciously recorded us some Chris’s corners. These will be attempted to be also to be posted on our YouTube page as well.

In this first part, we discussed current event, what happened to the queen of Baltimore morning radio? And a very interesting discovery he found while riding home from Work one day in an Uber!

Happy holidays and we hope you enjoy!
