Litzinger assumed control of both the men's and women's swimming programs in December of 2015, marking the first time since 1995 Notre Dame has had a combined swimming program. Litzinger previously served as head coach of both the men's and women's programs at the University of Utah (2000-07) after seven seasons as head women's coach at St. Bonaventure University (1989-1996). He was an assistant coach at the University of North Carolina from 2007-15, serving as associate head coach his final four seasons.

Segment 4: Jack and Rachel catch up with junior volleyball middle blocker Sam Fry. Fry was named to the all-ACC second team in 2015 after being included on the conference's all-freshman squad during her first season. Fry enters this weekend tied for the ACC lead in service aces (0.45). The Irish face Duke on Sept. 30 and Wake Forest on Oct. 2 at Purcell Pavilion.
