Radio Free Tatooine Network Feed

We had a slow news week, but we more than make up for it in tangents!  See where C-3PO’s red arm takes us in this meandering new episode of Radio Free Tatooine!

This week: Rogue One and other, less interesting things.

We talk about our impressions of The Force Awakens Blu-ray release, Poe Dameron’s new comic, Chuck Wendig’s upcoming sequel to Aftermath, and as much Rogue One as we can handle!

Stay in touch between shows by liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter, we’re always looking for criticism! We’re going to regret saying that, aren’t we?

The long-awaited combat retooling hits next week and we’ve got all you need to know.  The even-longer-awaited Guild feature is set to drop later this month and we have a few things to say about that as well.  Sean begins the episode with one plan, and ends with a whole new direction (as he often does), and John recants his tales of the Ewoks Four as they (almost) make their way through Galactic War.

This week: Ahsoka… lives?, Sean sings about Star Wars (again), and Poe Dameron hits your comic shop! Also- we have a winner! Tune in to find out who walked away with 1st place (and a jawa-worthy trophy) in our Star Wars Podcast Invitational 2016! Spoiler alert: It wasn’t us.

It’s finally here: the cap increase. We can now reach up to level 80, but what does that mean? We discuss how it affects us now and in the long-term, as well as go over some tricks for using Asajj Ventress and Yoda effectively. Then we speculate on possible upcoming events and what their awards could be.

Rebels gave us sand spiders and our Podcast Invitational bracket gave us fits, but this week, we’re giving you a great new episode full of Secret Service Stormtroopers, Colt .45, and baby deer?  Radio Free Tatooine starts now!

With the latest update, Ahsoka has become more of a viable character.  Does she have what it takes to survive in the Arena or is she confined to Galactic War?  Also, with the upcoming change to the way advantage works, will we see (even) more Phasma or will the changes to speed and fortitude outweigh her usefulness?  We don’t actually have the answers to these questions, but it sure is fun listening to us pretend we do!  Plus: John postulates putting a team together that Sean has a bad feeling about.

After watching the new episode of Star Wars Rebels, The Forgotten Droid, we take several detours, but eventually arrive at the conclusion that AP-5 is a good thing.  Also: our Star Wars Podcast Invitational bracket is broken and there’s no fixing it.

We just got treated to a huge new update making Old Ben farmable and Old Daka forgettable.  Ashoka gets a much-appreciated boost and Sean’s ewok dream team is one step closer to reality.  All this and a (not very) bitter debate about the effectiveness of taunts.  This is your Galactic War Report!

Happy birthday Amy!  We celebrate Amy’s birthday by giving her (most of) the night off.  With This is Madness! now active on StarWars.com, we finally get to compare our brackets with our competitors in the Star Wars Podcast Invitational 2016.  Will Full of Sith muscle us out of first place this year?  Can Coffee with Kenobi redeem their early exit last year?  Only time will tell.  Plus: fan brackets!
