Brandy Escamilla, 29 years old, and Josilyn Ruiz, 26 years old, 6/17/2023, George, Washington. Josilyn Ruiz and her fiancee, Brandy Escamilla, both registered nurses, were shot and killed while attending the Beyond Wonderland EDM Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

2026 is the tenth year since the Pulse Nightclub Massacre, an horrific act of hate and domestic terrorism that killed 49 human beings gathered to dance and celebrate at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando Florida on June 12, 2016. Gays Against Guns was founded in response to this mass murder and will mark the date with an event at Manhattan’s LGBT Center.

We honor Renee Good and Alex Pretti, the recent victims of the deadly, supposedly immigrant focused killings of two American citizens by the United States Department of Homeland Security and Immigration Customs Enforcement, better known as DHS and ICE.
