January 09, 2013#235 New Year RamblingsA new year dawns and with it comes various rumours none more interesting than the almost locked in fact that Casey Stoner will do a season of V8 Supercars. And in The Car of The Past which will have a number of benefits. Firstly since he is in a Development Series car it will suddenly put the Dunlop Series on the media map in a big way. Not to mention that DVS is really the only true Ford vs Holden battle. Secondly it will take a bit of pressure off the arrival of COTF which will no doubt endure all sorts of teething problems at The Clipsal not the least of which being the 45C temperatures predicted. Princess Datilda gets a new iPad thanks to Adobe. Betty thanks Ross and Jimmy. Much gnashing of teeth at FPR as Rusty get a foot in the door. Ron might be having second thoughts whilst Lewis has an issue with corrigated iron. Dakar gets going and seems unable to decide if it likes El Matador. JP discovers a cheap and nasty merlot. Worse still a tent on George Street Sydney. An awful Samsung prank in the week that made pranks unpopular. Google Maps are back. Yes Viewers it had been an odd week indeed. Lewis already saying twice that he may like to come back to McLaren. Bernie telling us he will stay put forever. Ross Brawn talks up 2013. US GP clashes will have to change its date due to lack of cheers girls being available. The Chin and pals go to ROC. PI gets a waxing. Best and worst brands of 2012. Apple TV Sets in early testing.
