This week on Tennis With An Accent, Saqib Ali is joined by Michael Gallo, a tennis writer and producer at TSN Canada. During his coverage of tennis through the Canadian prism he has covered the likes of Milos Raonic, Eugenie Bouchard, Denis Shapovalov, Felix Auger-Aliassime and now Bianca Andreescu. Tennis Canada is doing something right at the moment and Gallo weighs on the meteoric rise of Bianca Andreescu. He also speaks at length about the tennis boom in Canada when Raonic and Bouchard reached the Wimbledon finals in 2016 and 2014 respectively.

The conversation also gains some insights on the stories of Shapovalov and Auger-Aliassime who have become the poster boys of not only tennis Canada but for global tennis as well. The conversation is very rich and Gallo offers lot of insights on these players as well as Dominic Thiem who recently won at Indian Wells.
