The U.S. has announced it will lift sanctions on Myanmar, potentially aiding their economy. While recently Aung San Suu Kyi has been given a Humanitarian award by Harvard. Burmese Muslims, known as Rohingya in Rakhine state of Myanmar are going through what the UN and human rights groups have said are severe human rights abuses. Some question if the humanitarian award is too soon for Suu Kyi given there's still a disenfranchised and abused group within her jurisdiction.
