Carlo Acutis was a remarkable Italian teenager known for his deep love of the Eucharist and his use of modern technology to evangelize. Born in 1991 in London and raised in Milan, Carlo lived an ordinary life as a student who enjoyed computers, soccer, and video games, yet he had an extraordinary faith. He created a website documenting Eucharistic miracles around the world to help people grow closer to Jesus. Carlo died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, offering his suffering for the Pope and the Church. His witness reminds young people that holiness is possible in everyday life and that the internet and technology can be powerful tools for spreading the Gospel. He was beatified in 2020 and is often called “the patron of the internet.”
