Hello everybody. I am Fr. Sam Randall, priest Director or Radio Maria England and today I will be your host for “Questions of Faith”. Today, I have Sister Gemma back with us as a co-host and we’ll be answering your questions about faith, the Catholic Church, social issues and other topics that might come up.
Questions in this episode include:
“Why isn’t God slowing down the coronavirus?”
“My friend Laura recently posted on her facebook page that she is tired of working so hard at the nursery she is in, taking care of the young children that she cannot socially distance from, nor can she nor the children wear masks. She understands that risks and does enjoy her work. However, when she returns home, she returns home to an empty home and cannot socialise with friends her age. How can I, as a distant friend, support her and could you please pray for her?”
"What are the church’s social teachings - do we think borders are good or bad, a necessary evil or a moral necessity?”
“Christmas Lights? When is the appropriate time to take them down? Can I keep them up longer whilst we are in the lockdown to “brighten the night”?”
And I do encourage you to send Radio Maria England questions for our weekly show for “Questions of Faith”. If you have a question that you would like to ask, Please email those questions to [email protected]. You may also text, call or What’s Ap us at 07502 385 010.
