Gangadhar Gopal Gadgil (25 August 1923 – 15 September 2008) was a Marathi writer & academic from Maharashtra, India. He was born in Mumbai in 1923. After receiving a master's degree in economics from the University of Mumbai, he worked as a professor of economics at Sydenham College and also a few other colleges in Mumbai. He was the first principal of well known Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics from 1964-71. Gadgil was a prolific and multi-faceted writer, with published work in Economics, Literature, Biography, Literary Criticism and Travel Writing. The U.S. Library of Congress South Asian Literary Recordings Project has recordings of his reading from six of his books.[1] They have also acquired sixty-five of his books for their collection.

Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwarayya, KCIE FASc (15 September 1860/12 April 1962),[2][3] often referred by his initials, MV, was the first Indian civil engineer, statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore, serving from 1912 to 1918.[5] He started his primary education in Bangalore, received his BSc degree from the University of Madras, and then DCE (Diploma in Civil Engineering) from the University of Bombay through its affiliated institution and 3rd oldest Engineering College in Asia, College of Engineering, Pune.

Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar is a 2018 Indian Marathi Biographical drama film directed and written by Abhijeet Deshpande.The film follows the life of Marathi film actor Kashinath Ghanekar. It was jointly produced by Sunil Phadtare under the Shree Ganesh Marketing & Films with Subodh Bhave played the role of Kashinath Ghanekar, with Sonali Kulkarni, Vaidehi Parashurami, Sumeet Raghavan and Nandita Dhuri-Patkar in supporting roles.

Ram Boolchand Jethmalani (14 September 1923 – 8 September 2019) was an Indian lawyer and politician. He served as India's Union minister of law and justice, as chairman of the Indian Bar Council, and as the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He was noted in the Indian legal fraternity for his forte in criminal law and high-profile civil cases.
