Sálim Moizuddin Abdul Ali (12 November 1896 – 20 June 1987)was an Indian ornithologist and naturalist. Sometimes referred to as the "Birdman of India", Salim Ali was the first Indian to conduct systematic bird surveys across India and wrote several bird books that popularized ornithology in India. He became a key figure behind the Bombay Natural History Society after 1947 and used his personal influence to garner government support for the organisation, create the Bharatpur bird sanctuary and prevent the destruction of what is now the Silent Valley National Park.

Jivatram Bhagwandas Kripalani :- Popularly known as Acharya Kripalani, was an Indian politician, noted particularly for holding the presidency of the Indian National Congress during the transfer of power in 1947 and the husband of Sucheta Kripalani. Kripalani was an environmentalist, mystic and independence activist who was long a Gandhian socialist, before joining the economically right wing Swatantra Party later in life.

Abul Kalam Ghulam Muhiyuddin Ahmed bin Khairuddin Al-Hussaini Azad  11 November 1888 – 22 February 1958) was an Indian independence activist, Islamic theologian, writer and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress. Following India's independence, he became the First Minister of Education in the Indian government.

Kusumavati Deshpande  कुसुमावती देशपांडे) (1904–1961) was a Marathi writer from Maharashtra, India.

She was born on 10 November 1904 in Amravati, Bombay Presidency, her maiden having been Kusum Jaywant. Her father was a lawyer.

Surendranath Banerjee often known as Rashtraguru (Bengali:   Rāṣṭraguru, lit. 'Teacher of the Nation'; 10 November 1848 – 6 August 1925) was Indian nationalist leader during the British Rule. He founded a nationalist organization called the Indian National Association and was one of the founding members of the Indian National Congress.
