During the decades between 1952 and 1982 Thailand underwent a period extremely similar to what is commonly known in Italy as The Years of Lead. Though not the lead of a bullet, many of those killed and disappeared were burned out of existence in red oil drums. Over the next few episodes we're going to unpack it.
