This is the story of a dreamer. Born February 25, 1991, TJ Strozier, an urban artist from Flint, Michigan, who now resides in Chicago, started his journey as a boy who wanted to write. A boy who just wanted to write anything people would love. Submerging himself in the art of music, TJ began to take on a abstracted persona; creating his musical identity, Dreamer. After capturing the attention of his home state, Dreamer set forth to infiltrate and concur the rest of the world using his undeniable musical talent.

Not Another Black Movie is about when a family’s matriarch, Big Mama, passes away, her dying wish is to make sure the family she raised address their personal demons. Now, her dysfunctional family must seek unconventional therapy in order to get a multi-million dollar inheritance. Chaos ensues as they are forced to deal with old rivalries, volatile marriages, and failed dreams.

V.o.A. has been around over a decade doing 1,200 shows across the U.S. & Canada, including 160 just in 2016. Having 6 official releases & independently selling 6,500 physical copies (as well as being involved in countless compilations) these boys have proven they are a force to be reckoned with. V.o.A. has been featured in the video games skateboard party 1, 2, & 3 as well as snowboard party 1 & 2. The new full-length album is out July 14th and a feature length documentary due to be released in 2018.

He dropped a full length 23 track LP titled “Scale King Syndicate” featuring highly respected artist along with multiple videos and a multi city midwestern tour in April/May. Also opened up for national acts such as Slaine of La Coka Nostra and Chicago’s very own Do Or Die. Consistently creating and performing Tony Patagonia and Seven Oddities Records will definitely be names you will continue to hear in the Hip-Hop world.
