We welcome to the pod, Winnipeg's own internationally-acclaimed, award-winning member of Rock 'n Roll supergroup Bachman Turner Overdrive,  Mr. Fred Turner. I recently caught up with my friend and neighbour, Fred Turner.  Throughout his lifetime he's been a major player in over a dozen bands dating back to when Winnipeg was known as "The Band Capital of Canada".  We spent our time together reminiscing about our love for music as well as his other passions, including repairing and restoring classic and vintage vehicles. We covered a lot of ground and yet have plenty more to talk about.  I look forward to having him back for another episode in the near future. Truly a class act.  I hope you enjoy our talk as much as I did and, as always, thank you for listening!

Peter Paul Van Camp is one of Canada's treasures when it comes to poetry. He is not your average  rhymester to be sure. He doesn't simply play with words, he shares riveting stories with his crafty use of the lexicon he has adopted over time, some of it, from a time long ago.  The timing and delivery of his particularly pleasing pieces of poetry will have you sufficiently suffonsified until you get hungry for more of his gifted wit and his commanding yet, quirky presence. Listen in as I spend some time with an old friend of mine, Mr. Peter Paul Van Camp or PPVC to some of his friends. Or, "Specs" to some of his even closer friends.
