Colin Braun is one of the most accomplished and versatile drivers in modern endurance racing, with championship titles, global victories, and record-setting performances across multiple disciplines.

A four-time 24 Hours of Daytona winner, including the 2023 overall victory in IMSA’s GTP class, Colin has made 22 consecutive Rolex 24 starts and has won on every circuit on the IMSA schedule. His IMSA résumé includes victories at Sebring, Watkins Glen, and Petit Le Mans, along with 26 WeatherTech Championship wins and 20 pole positions.

Internationally, Colin is an Asian Le Mans Series Champion (2023–2024) and a class winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Spa. In 2024, he claimed GT3 Pro-Am victory at Spa and an LMP2 class win at LeMans, further solidifying his status as a global endurance racing standout.

In North America, Colin captured the 2022 IMSA LMP3 Championship, along with back-to-back IMSA Prototype Challenge titles (2014, 2015), and finished second overall in the IMSA DPi Championship in 2018. In 2023, he also won the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Pro-Am Championship, earning a season-high six class victories, including the Indianapolis 8-Hour.

Colin made his NTT INDYCAR SERIES debut in 2024, competing in the St. Petersburg Grand Prix and the Thermal Club $1 Million Challenge, adding open-wheel racing to an already elite résumé.

Beyond racing success, Colin holds multiple world speed records. At Ford’s request, he set the fastest lap ever recorded at Daytona International Speedway (222.971 mph), as well as FIA world records for the 10-kilometer (203.010 mph) and 10-mile (210.017 mph) standing-start laps.

Colin is also a proven NASCAR competitor and former development driver for Ford Performance and Roush Fenway, earning wins in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, multiple pole positions, Rookie of the Year honors, and numerous NASCAR Xfinity (Nationwide) poles.

Their mission? To train a core of volunteers to assist the county agent in delivering information to residents on how to design, plant and care for their plants and landscapes in a Florida-Friendly way. Master Gardener Volunteers offer education to the citizens of Pinellas County on environmentally sound Florida-Friendly Landscape practices.

👉Classes run from Aug./Sept. through Nov./Dec. (10-12 weeks). Most of the coursework is done online with an in-person class once a week on Wednesday mornings. Some of the areas where Master Gardeners volunteer include: our Lawn & Garden Help Desk, presenting educational programs for the community, community gardens, helping with 4-H programs and school gardens, etc. 
👉Topics covered include Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM, botany, plant propagation, native plants, landscape planting and maintenance, weeds, palms, turfgrass, vegetables, dooryard fruits, plant pathology, entomology, nematology, pesticides and pesticide safety, soils, nutrients, and fertilizers, irrigation, pruning, wildlife, and invasive plants.
👉This is a very popular volunteer training, and we typically have more applicants than spaces in the class. Based on application information, references, and sometimes interviews, a select set of applicants is chosen. The 2026 class is anticipated to cost $225 and a limited number of scholarships are available each year.
