A new project on the CU Boulder campus aims to fill some of the gaps in archival records on Japanese Americans in Colorado, from the time of incarceration camps 75 years ago up to present day. Adam Lisbon, Japanese and Korean studies librarian on campus and one of the project leaders, joins Alex Kimata, a CU Boulder alumna and project contributor, to talk with News Director Lucy Haggard about the project.
The archivists are actively looking for oral histories and other historical documentation. If you'd like to share materials or get involved, contact Professor Megan Friedel, head of CU Boulder Libraries archives, at [email protected].
