Join us this week as we wrap up the Alien film franchise! This week we dive into the final two movies, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. Prometheus is a 2012 British-American science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron. Written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, the story takes place in the late 21st century and centers on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as they follow a star map discovered among the remnants of several ancient Earth cultures. Led to a distant world and an advanced civilization, the crew seeks the origins of humanity but instead discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human race. (Xenopedia) Alien: Covenant is a 2017 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride and Demián Bichir. It is a sequel to the 2012 film Prometheus, taking place roughly ten years later,[1] and follows the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. Upon landing, the crew discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, inhabited solely by the android David, survivor of the ill-fated Prometheus expedition. However, the planet is soon revealed to be far more dangerous than they could ever have imagined. (Xenopedia)

The Beating Drum is the Premier Native American radio show in America that is preserving positive Native American imagery in sports and mainstream, as Many communities across the country have been targeted by groups like Not Your Mascots, NAACP and may others to change the names and icons of their beloved sports teams, by falsely claiming these names and images are racist and derogatory towards Native Americans.

It’s time we bring the fight to these groups, and help communities by educating them to the truth, as well as dispel the misinformation being presented to them. We can’t do this alone, so we are reaching out for your help. Call in and let your voice be heard. Educate, not eradicate! #NeverBackDown
