RadioAFS

The Beating Drum is the Premier Native American radio show in America that is preserving positive Native American imagery in sports and mainstream, as Many communities across the country have been targeted by groups like Not Your Mascots, NAACP and may others to change the names and icons of their beloved sports teams, by falsely claiming these names and images are racist and derogatory towards Native Americans.

It’s time we bring the fight to these groups, and help communities by educating them to the truth, as well as dispel the misinformation being presented to them. We can’t do this alone, so we are reaching out for your help. Call in and let your voice be heard. Educate, not eradicate! #NeverBackDown

Join us this Sunday night while we discuss the NBA Finals. We will be taking a look at the Golden State Warriors and their hunger for the championship as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers and their extremely poor performance this series. After Lebron James has had and amazing rack up of stats this series does it really matter if the whole team gets torn apart? If Keven Durant was on another team for the NBA Finals would he be considered as the greatest player of all time? How do teams make it to the championship then get ran over? These are some of the things we will be talking about.

For the Second half of the show we will be talking about the the greatest coaches of all time in the NFL. We will be looking at Bill Walsh, John Madden, Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Don Shula, and so many others and their careers that have set them as some of the greatest coaches of all time. What makes a coach great? Why do they stand out among the rest? We will be talking about all of this and more. Call in and give us your opinion @ 646-668-8467
