Garrett is a former 911 Rescue Worker, a former medic, and now an Author of the book “A Hero’s Natural Response: Garrett M. Goodwin’s Journey Through Life and Rescue Work”. Garrett spent 24 days at Ground Zero after 911, searching for survivors. He had seen the worst of humanity, finding human remains. Yet the friendships he forged in the heat, blood, sweat and tears at Ground Zero and the brotherhood he became a part of- showed him the best of humanity too.

Dr. Thomas E. Boyce is a motivational speaker, author, consultant, musician and educator. An applied psychologist, Dr. Boyce is an expert in all things that workers and their supervisors need to know and do to stay alive and productive!

He is also a musician! His band is called TED & the StartUp. They are a Rock/Punk-Pop band. They just released a cd of live music recorded during an impromptu performance in San Francisco. The cd is entitled Live! From Room 3 Studios and it features the band’s duo- Dr. Boyce on bass guitar and vocals, and drummer Dan. Their sound was inspired by groups such as the White Stripes and UK’s Royal Blood. You will be amazed at the big sound these two musicians make. Their performances were produced live with no pre-recorded tracks or loops!
