Cette semaine dans notre nouvelle émission Math'n'Mate, partons à la découverte, en anglais, de la medaille Fields et de son histoire :A medal or a prize created in 1936 and awarded to two,three or four mathematicians under 40 years old at the International Congress of the IMU, every four years. This medal has been compared to the Nobel prize because it is regarded or considered as one of the highest honors a mathematician can receive. The name of this award is in honour of the canadian mathematician John Charles Fields who created that medal to award accomplishments in mathematics.
