Beau Bakken of Hallock, MN is a chip off the old block.... or should we say "Rock" when it comes to creativity and artistic success!

Rock Bakken of Hallock, MN is deeply rooted in his community and in the region. He's been and continues to be the proprietor of a shoe and clothing store in downtown Hallock - while developing artistic skills in painting for the same decades. He and his son Beau currently have a "father and son" art display at the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council's Gallery - located on the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College.

Glen Braget welcomes back Thunderblood Charlie Norris to the program with his very special guest, legendary pro wrestler/trainer/promoter Eddie Sharkey. Eddie and Charlie share memories of Pro Wrestling America, the good times traveling with the boys, Eddie's career in ring and as a trainer, growing up fast on Hennepin Avenue, Sean Waltma's early days and a heckuva rib pulled on Eddie by Charlie back in the day.

He’s working on several initiatives to include the Bakken Exhibit – on display now in the NWMAC Gallery on the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College. Trey also discusses the future Black Lives Matter Exhibit, the Tending the Creative Soul Zoom, the Springboard for the Arts virtual open house and Mojo Mondays!

Long-time Crookston, MN resident Rick Jensen is a master woodcarver and teacher of the craft. His story reveals more than just the shavings and shaping of wood!
