Our second approach to Holyoke politics during this local election for 2017, we invited Juan G Sanchez, candidate for Ward 1 at Holyoke City Council, to present his platform and talk about his motivation to run against the incumbent City Councilwoman for Ward 1.

Rachel Dowd is the Teen Librarian at the Holyoke Public Library. Always smiling and infusing positive energy, she has created a special environment for the Library, with tailored activities, programs, community engagement, and a safe space for youth to learn, play, and to be themselves.
