On Session 8, Skin Wade talks to longtime friend and rapper Bavu Blakes (who he’s collaborated with on many songs) about Bavu’s life trying to make a change in the public school system on the outskirts of Austin. They talk about what Bavu has learned and tie it back to his life as a musician/writer/rapper.

On Session 7, Skin Wade talks to Sophia Chang about her stellar new memoir "The Baddest Bitch in the Room." They talk about her life as the first Asian woman in Hip-Hop working with artists like Wu-Tang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest and they explore the cultural journey she took that led her to running a Shaolin Temple. On Session 6, Skin Wade is joined by comedian Paul Varghese to discuss the controversy surrounding the new Dave Chappelle special 'Sticks and Stones' and the audience’s tolerance for “offensive comedy” in the current cancel culture climate.

On Session 4, Skin Wade is joined by longtime friend Adrian Quesada - the guitarist, Bandleader and Producer of the Texas Psychedelic Soul sensation The Black Pumas. Skin and AQ discuss the origins of the Black Pumas, Adrian's working relationship with singer Eric Burton, how they forged their sound as well as AQ's long-winding musical journey that includes Grammy's and performances with the legendary Prince

On Session 3, Skin Wade is joined by ESPN/Esquire writer Baxter Holmes and they go in-depth on how Baxter conceives and executes what Skin considers to be the best long-form sports writing anywhere. They discuss the difficulties with writing pieces that sometimes take years to complete. Baxter also details how he pulls readers in and maintains their focus despite the constant distractions and consumer's ever-decreasing attention spans.

Session 2 is a family affair as father and son William and Paul Schalda of the R&B Harmony group the Sha La Das join the podcast to discuss their lifetime in music, the making of their Daptone record Love In The Wind, the process of a father and his sons recording together, as well as Paul’s crucial new Paul and the Tall Trees record So Long on Big Crown records.  They also riff on the “Daptone sound” as this session is packed with great stories and great music.
