On this episode, is a double dose of impressions from Sean regarding Stray and As Dusk Falls, two games currently on PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass respectively. Sean enjoys both games, one for being a great cat simulator, and the other for telling a terrific suspense tale with narrative game aspects.

In the news, Bayonetta 3 finally gets a release date, Sony finishes their acquisition of Bungie and then acquires Repeat.gg, as the guys discuss what PlayStation's strategy could be for making so many varied acquisitions in a short span of time. Plus, what are some Konami franchises that could use a revival?

Could Nintendo be doing more with CG in their games and maybe even push into TV series after buying a Japanese company Dynamo? What are some shows that work in this type of vein?

Marc has some thoughts on the decision to not make Final Fantasy XVI turn-based and how the young generation has something to do. He's also not to fond of what's going on with the Assassin's Creed franchise too.

Sean Comer, Alexis Hejna and Mark Radulich continue their look back at the Harry Potter film series! This time we're reviewing "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Now in his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) learns that many in the wizarding community do not know the truth of his encounter with Lord Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, minister of Magic, appoints his toady, Dolores Umbridge, as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, for he fears that professor Dumbledore will take his job. But her teaching is deficient and her methods, cruel, so Harry prepares a group of students to defend the school against a rising tide of evil.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: As Death Eaters wreak havoc in both Muggle and Wizard worlds, Hogwarts is no longer a safe haven for students. Though Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) suspects there are new dangers lurking within the castle walls, Dumbledore is more intent than ever on preparing the young wizard for the final battle with Voldemort. Meanwhile, teenage hormones run rampant through Hogwarts, presenting a different sort of danger. Love may be in the air, but tragedy looms, and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Harry Potter's (Daniel Radcliffe) third year at Hogwarts starts off badly when he learns deranged killer Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped from Azkaban prison and is bent on murdering the teenage wizard. While Hermione's (Emma Watson) cat torments Ron's (Rupert Grint) sickly rat, causing a rift among the trio, a swarm of nasty Dementors is sent to protect the school from Black. A mysterious new teacher helps Harry learn to defend himself, but what is his secret tie to Sirius Black?

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The fourth movie in the Harry Potter franchise sees Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) returning for his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, along with his friends, Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson). There is an upcoming tournament between the three major schools of magic, with one participant selected from each school by the Goblet of Fire. Source Material #316 - Auction Wars - 2022.07.23 Part 2

Chris Bailey and I are back to round out this first-ever AUCTION WARS event!!

The concept is this… there was a local auction in my area that had one of the most extensive Star Wars collections that I have ever seen in one place. And I mean this had it all!! Among other excellent properties like Star Trek, Indiana Jones, and more. We took 5 of the top lots and with a few other podcast pals including:

Mark Raduich of the Radulich In Broadcasting Network

Ronnie Adams of The Screaming Boy Podcast

Cliff Barnes of Ka-Pow The Pop Cultured Podcast

We tried to make our best-educated guess on where the final bid would be once auction day rolled around. The person who gets the most lots closest to the selling price will be crowned the AUCTION WARS CHAMPEEN!!

Here we go!!! Listen to us react to where these auction lots land!!
