June 10 is the Mission Awareness Day of the Augustinian Province of Santo Niño de Cebu in commemoration of the death anniversary of Rev. Fr. Bernardino Ricafrente, OSA, who died while on mission in Indonesia. In this 6th episode of OSApan, we give honor to this extraordinary Filipino Augustinian missionary friar by dedicating the month of June as mission awareness month. We are blessed to have with us the incoming chairman of the Commission on Parish and Mission, Rev. Fr. Sisinio Paderog, OSA to share with us his personal experience of being sent in a mission particularly in urban areas. Let us get to know more about him in our episode.

Did you know that the Augustinian presence in the Philippines have two circumscriptions or two autonomous groups in the Order of Saint Augustine? The first is the Province of Santo Niño de Cebu with more than 100 solemn professed friars and the second is the Vicariate of the Orient with more or less 40 members.
