Special shoutouts to our former Program Directors/Station Managers during my time here: Maizun, Don, Chad, Jane, Sonja, Mark, Joe, Myke, and Marta: the amount of respect, gratitude, and your kind words of encouragement and empowerment, are still being felt today. You're all Hall Of Famers to me! Last but not least, thank you to all of YOU, the dedicated Cageaholics out there. Let the madness continue!

First episode of the year kicks off with a lookback to the Top Ragers of 2023, and what a kickass year it was for metal! On a more personal note, 2023 was truly a reflective and festive year for me, as The Cage was in its 30th year. Now, despite the lack of acknowledgement of my decades-long accomplishments from certain "leaders" in the office, it was YOU listeners, along with local talents, promoters, and fellow programmers, that took your time to congratulate me. That's more than I could have imagined, and I THANK YOU all! Remember: I'm NOT doing this for any "recognition" or to please certain people. No, I RAGE for all the REAL fans who truly appreciate great radio, as well as for all the dedicated artists/promoters who keep the local scenes thriving. Brace yourselves for another WILD Cage year!
