I have to start by apologizing to my guest Devon Gamble since I thought this episode had already been released to the general public. The very talented Devon Gamble was my guest in the latest Behind The Mic. I became acquainted with Devon’s work after she found MTR on LinkedIn and after seeing her show This Week In The Cinema I realized we had a lot in common. Devon brings a genuine approach to discussing film and her passion for the medium translates through her blogs and videos. She convinced me to give The Fantastic Mr. Fox another shot after seeing her enthusiasm for the film. I watched with renewed optimism and enjoyed it quite a bit. Things got a bit out of hand a Blog Talk Radio experienced an infrastructure and back up crash simultaneously so we went Mixlr practically the whole night with rather good results minus that we couldn’t take callers.
·         00:16:46 – MMA – The TUF finale took center stage this week. Rich also shared his thoughts on this weekend’s UFC on Fox event as well.
·         00:39:09 – Wrestling – A subpar RAW but a solid episode of Impact started things off this week.  Rumors are strong that CZW standout Sami Callihan will be heading to WWE after his medicals.
·         01:20:01 – Video Games – The Sega classic Castle of Illusion will be getting the remake treatment. We also get some new info for Arkham Origins as well as some commentary from Slick. Nintendo announced some upcoming titles that while familiar in name are generating quite a buzz.
·         02:01:48 – Movies/TV – Jackie Robinson reigns supreme at the box office. Justin Theroux as Dr. Strange? Could happen.  A Weird Science remake is on the horizon! Be afraid

In this latest installment of MTR Beyond The Mic we had the chance to sit down with Jesse Johnson whose Wonder Woman fan film has been setting the web ablaze with it raw approach to the Wonder Woman character. Jesse is a Hollywood veteran with an impressive resume not only as a stunt man but also as a director. He recently worked on a film with Steve Austin and Dolph Lundgren. We hope DC and Warner Bros. are taking notes because a fan film got it right.
