If when we say "should Warner Bros Discovery reboot Harry Potter" you start to feel a sharp pain in the side of your head, then you might be listening to the right show! The Nerds discuss that, talk about Gary Oldman, and try to determine who is the best ex-wrestler turned actor between Dwyane The Rock Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.
TJ, and the other nerds, firmly believe that Die Hard is a Christmas movie. So, since it is once again that time of year, TJ dusts off his reading glasses, heads over to Nakatomi Plaza, and reads the illustrated book, "Die Hard Christmas"! Do you enjoy this holiday spiced-up version of a movie that people like to debate the merits of whether it is or isn't a Christmas book? Let us know, and join us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok)!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Yippe Ki-Ya Nerdom!
It took just a couple of weeks and a couple of tweets, but a section of the DC fandom already want to see James Gunn fired! DC Studios are a mess and with the news breaking that Wonder Woman 3 was shelved, a lot of people are up in arms and James Gunn is in damage control. Are you willing to trust Gunn and his process or is the DC Studios in just as much trouble as it was before the hiring of Gunn?

The nerds discuss a lot of Halloween-related content, just in time for Thanksgiving! That's right, our favorite Halloween candy, costumes, and movies... all in time for you to sit down and finish your leftover stash from October after waking from your turkey-induced coma! We also discuss and name the winner of our Horror Movie Bracket, a showdown between The Conjuring and Halloween (1978). Lastly, throughout the episode (and ultimately to cap it off) the nerds discuss some movie pitches and concepts that would make either really good (bad) movies... or at least a semi-decent porno. So sit down, pop that belt off, slather yourself in gravy, and listen to the nerds talk about a completely different holiday!
Round 3 of the Horror movie bracket as we see classics like The Shining and Halloween (1978) and more modern horrors like The Conjuring and The Amityville Horror (2005) all square off to land a spot in our finals! We also discuss how we feel about movie critics, especially in light of the discrepancies between film critic reviews and audience scores for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam movie. Also, what the hell do you call a fight between two living dolls... well find out what we called it as we discuss Chucky vs M3GAN!
Tis the season to talk about the spooky and the creepy... and our geeky guys are doing just that! Jared, our nerd who likes to do the Excel legwork, compiled a list of 100 horror movies and used various metrics to narrow them down to 16 movies (however controversial his picks may ultimately be is up to you). From there, we had our community on social media cast their votes for the different pairings to decide Round 1. Then the nerds themselves would vote on and decide the results for Round 2. So we start this episode with 16 movies and a dream and by the end, we have 4 movies and a few nightmares! But did we, and the community, make the right calls? Give a listen and then let us know what you think!
Our 16 Horror Movie Finalists:
The Super Cagle Bros are the nerdy lineup for today's episode, and they are tackling not only some geek-based headlines but also creating their own celebrity deathmatch! Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine, Olivia Wilde chased off Shia LaBeouf, and has issues with Florence Pugh... so all of this drama can only be settled one way; a pro wrestling match! CAC and Jared narrate this fantasy epic!
The Nerds, AL, TJ, and CAC, discuss and react to the info dump that Disney released at the D23 Expo! From trailers to announcements, the nerds will sort through the geeky goodness and bring you their thoughts, opinions, and theory crafting for the upcoming films and series for the MCU and Disney+ partnership (including a special presentation coming out in October)! The nerds will also continue their reaction and review of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episodes 2, 3, and 4 (and their love for Wongers and Madisynn).
Applebee's has a lip gloss line that has... flavors(?!)... inspired by their chicken wings. Shia LaBeouf finds religion in Catholicism... kinda. Mr. CAC pitches the best restaurant and other personal item brand crossover... EVER! Come rage, nerds, and listen as the Super Cagle Bros discuss, react, and go full degenerate in this latest episode!
The Nerds, AL, TJ, and Mr. CAC, are discussing the latest happenings in the world of nerdom and geekiness. First, they discuss some weird youtube horror content. Next up they react to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's first episode and air their grievances to the court of public opinion! After that, they discuss HBO Max cutting content as the WB and Discovery merger continues to have a lasting impact on DC and animated content. Lastly, TJ hops off the call as AL and CAC discuss Only Murders in the Building episode 9 of season 2!
