This week on Parent Tell Kaila had the honor to talk with Rhiannon, a friend of Kaila's good friend, about rainbow pregnancies, rainbow babies, and riding out the waves of grief as they come amidst the joy of a rainbow baby. For those who haven't yet guessed it or are unaware, a rainbow baby is the term for a baby born after experiencing a loss. The rainbow after the storm clouds, so to speak. 

Rhiannon was kind enough to share her miscarriage and rainbow pregnancy experiences with Kaila and the two moms talk at length about the anxiety that naturally comes with being pregnant after loss, how many pregnant people choose to wait longer before sharing their news, as well as why we all just have to keep sharing our stories to de-stigmatize "uncomfortable" topics and continue to carve that safe space for ourselves and others.
