Have you been disappointed by a friend too?

There are many things to love about traveling. But there are some things to not like that much. Traveling alone as a single Black woman can be its own kind of nightmare.

There's a phrase that resonates with me at the moment, that I am going to add to my mental war chest in 2019.

Continuing on the theme of building a new foundation in life, these are the two things I have been decreasing religiously to get what I want.

Ridesharing companies Uber and Lyft are the most well-known gig apps among several dozen that aim and claim to help users make the extra cash they need. But how much of a help are these side hustles? At what point does the gig become more of a hindrance to personal financial progress?

Our job here is to be good stewards, and to do that requires good use of time and energy. This is what I'm focused on for 2019, aligning habits and choices with purpose. What are you focused on this year?

They say honesty is the best policy but sometimes it's easier said than done.
