We are so thankful that Kyle Prue agreed to be on our podcast! We talk with him about the making of his web series, Rabbit, which features the first asexual protagonist we have ever seen. Kyle discusses learning about the "cult" that was dedicated to him, how he pitched this project, the challenges of putting on a high budget project with a large production team and how he handled them, how they convinced Ken Davitian to join their project, and the importance of representation for the asexual community.

Darrion Nguyen of Lab Shenanigans is a Houston-based science content creator. Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry and Theatre, respectively, at the University of Texas at Austin, Darrion has grown to become a prominent science communicator and educator. His background training in theatre and passion for STEM has allowed him to effectively incorporate relatable humor with science topics and convey them through his videos. Named the “Bill Nye of millennials”, Darrion seeks to make science accessible, propel STEM communication, and empower people to learn science by combining popular memes and concepts from biochemistry.

Aaron H. Aceves (he/him) is a bisexual, Mexican-American writer born and raised in East L.A. He graduated from Harvard College and received his MFA from Columbia University. His fiction has appeared in jmww, Epiphany, and them., among other places. He currently lives in Texas, where he serves as an Early Career Provost Fellow at UT Austin, and his debut novel, This Is Why They Hate Us, will be released August 23rd by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers.
