Recorded on September 12, 2024, at the dogtrot on the front porch, this is the sound of Hurricane Francine as she weakened into a post-tropical cyclone in the late afternoon. Listeners will hear raindrops hitting the metal roof and cascading onto the steel tongue drum under the roof’s dripline, accompanied by a background of Chickadees, Nuthatches, Red bellied woodpecker and dozens of Ruby-throated hummingbirds.
