I tried to do an opening for the Edward Scissorhands episode and then sort of got sidetracked lots of times talking about other shows and things for almost an hour and decided to just make that a bonus episode and redo my opening. 

This is not about one specific movie it's mostly just me rambling about a few horror movies and making recommendations and as I write this I just found out they recast Geralt of Rivia on the Witcher, it's not going to be Henry Cavill anymore and I'm too upset to come up with funny things to say

What needs to be said for horror movies is... take a good look at final girls, especially Wendy from "The Shining" how do they look at the end? They aren't all wearing a sexy costume and kicking ass, it's struggle and they are covered in blood, because survival is not about being a super heroine... survival is messy 

Well here we are, the season 1 finale... finally season 1 episode 8... but podcast season 4 episode 11... ha ha 011 get it? also if you're using numbers to refer to Eleven the character, it is 011, not just 11 because that's inaccurate and it grosses me out. 

Steve for the win... some Jancy chemistry... chocolate put-ting lol

"Snowball?" guys this one is sad and emotional and exciting and all the things a finale should be... 

just an epic finale where I've never been so happy to see eggos in my life and never been more disgusted by a vine... Hopper makes up for a lot and everyone gets a chance to be a hero a little bit and I love them all so much

This is the penultimate episode of season 1, and it is one of the best ones I've ever seen, it sets everything up perfectly. We have all our separate factions coming together as one, sharing each piece of the puzzle with one another, it's exhilarating. 

Mike is saying the right thing? wow finally... 

One look from Hopper at Eleven and every cell in my body is screaming "ADOPT THE CHILD! ADOPT HER NOW!" 

Several emotional wounds deep inside of me are healed by Joyce Byers finally showing Eleven some appreciation. 

And by Lucas showing her some love as well...

Mr. Clark... has... game? wow...

The one episode where Steve is kind of a jerk, it was just one, not the whole season... and he was hurt so meh... I mean he reacted poorly to the hurt but it wasn't just him being like that for no reason... 

Eleven is just so many goals in this episode, when people yell at me I also would like to just go sit in the forest with several boxes of waffles and eat them all like I don't give one single crap... 

We meet Terry Ives and the room that could have been, and yea that's a joke but it's also super sad... I rant about that for quite a bit... 

Nancy and Jonathon sleep together but it's cool because they have a gun and pillow between them, besides Karen wheeler doesn't even knock and doesn't respect Nancy's privacy at all... 

also you know how parents ask "if your friends jumped off a cliff, would you do it?" ... MIke Wheeler is leaps ahead of them, literally... that's a ride or die friend right there... 

oh and the monster, is it El? The demogorgon? Nope it's in fact Dr. Martin Brenner... I stand by that to this day too

Here we are again, at a funeral for some cotton stuffed in rubber... weird... but at least Lonnie is here to help (sarcasm) Hopper is just... I would say paranoid but he has a reason to be... Dustin is the smartest kid on the planet, Mr. Clark is just sweet as molasses... Joyce is not putting up with the BS, and Nancy is not putting up with the BS... Eleven is just finding out about the BS and trying to avoid it at all costs... mike yell at my girl one more time I dare you... 

This episode just screams BADASS NANCY to me.. then again it has one of my absolute favorite Joyce moments and lines of all time, "Maybe I am a mess, maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm out of my mind but so help me God I will leave these lights up UNTIL THE DAY I DIE, if think there's a chance Will is still out there." 

Dang get this woman an emmy... and can I get those words tattooed on my body? like for real... anyway let's all remember that when it came to a nuclear family nancy has a couple words for ya... SCREW THAT :) 

Eddie Munson is the best, that's it, that's all of the description. PERIOD.

None of the males believe anything Eleven, Joyce or Nancy have to say... until they finally do, thankfully... Nancy gets slut shamed by the police (not Hopper) and the fandom, Karen 'you can talk to me' Wheeler doesn't like that Nancy lied about Steve but who cares at a time like this Karen, people are missing! 

Hopper is just punching everyone to get answers and I love that he's not just letting things go but he's being a little rash, punch first ask questions later lol I love him though. 

also these three bada** females that no one listens to until halfway through the episode, are not standing down, they are fighting, go girls!

Also... Eleven makes a bully pee his pants in front of the entire school and her expression afterwards is priceless. "Yea I did that, punk" lol  

I go on a few rants about people saying El just wants to be 'pretty'... subtext people, subtext *sigh* 

the spoilers don't start until around 19 minutes in, but here are just some of my many thoughts, first reaction, and theories for season 4, I just needed to get it out before we continue on this curiosity voyage rewatching season 1... we'll get back to regular scheduled episodes soon I promise :) ONLY listen if you've season ALL of season 4 episodes 1-7
