Episode 5: Preseason Reactions, Fantasy Implications & Playoff Predictions

Raising Fans is back with another loaded episode as we break down preseason performances, what they could mean for the regular season, and how they might impact our fantasy leagues.

We start with our biggest real-game preseason takeaways, including Malik Willis, who went 4-for-5 for 43 yards, and a Denver Broncos team that gave us plenty to talk about.

We discuss Courtland Sutton's impressive highlight grabs and where he fits in Denver's receiver hierarchy, while the Broncos' defensive secondary creates another interesting storyline with a ton of depth and difficult roster decisions ahead. Jahdae's 97-yard pick-six and Riley Moss' interception highlight just how competitive that group could be.

We also dive into Ty Simpson, whether the Rams made the right move, and whether Simpson could be a future quarterback to keep an eye on.

Then there's Jeremiah Love's injury and why it may be more serious than some people initially thought.

Raising Fans – Episode 1: Welcome to the Show!

Welcome to the very first episode of Raising Fans! We’re two brother-in-laws, dads, and sports fans kicking off a new show where we talk about the sports we love, the leagues we compete in, and everything in between.

In Episode 1, we start by introducing ourselves and giving you a little background on who we are. We then dive into our CBF27 Dynasty League and some of our fantasy football leagues, including what makes these leagues so competitive—and fun.

From there, we head to the diamond to talk MLB, including some of our likes and dislikes surrounding the trade deadline and the moves that caught our attention.

Finally, we look ahead at what you can expect from Raising Fans as the show grows. More sports, more leagues, more opinions, and plenty of friendly arguments are coming your way.
