The verse in Judges 2:10 is one of the saddest in scripture. An entire generation rose up who didn’t know God—not because God failed them, but because their parents didn’t pass down the truth. Leadership begins at home. Raising children who simply follow culture isn’t enough—we are called to raise leaders who know God, love truth, and influence their world. Think of Joshua. He declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). Joshua led not just as a warrior, but as a father and a spiritual example. If we don’t teach our children to lead in faith, the world will teach them to follow whatever it offers. We must be intentional: leading with love, modeling integrity, encouraging bold questions, and praying over our children daily. Let’s raise Daniels, Esthers, and Joshuas—leaders who stand firm even when culture bows.
