  • Mustard Gas And Roses
Kill Me Kate is the long-awaited self-titled debut from the punk band Kill Me Kate. Fifteen years in the making, this record distills years of raw energy, dark themes and underground grit into a cohesive and ambitious first full-length. Across thirteen tracks, the album shifts from explosive riffs to bruised emo confessions, tackling heartbreak, rebellion, and the absurd with equal intensity. A DIY statement carved from persistence and passion, Kill Me Kate stands as both an introduction and a culmination — the band’s first full album, finally unleashed.

  • D & R
I wrote this one while grieving my mom's passing a few years back and about all of the death I experienced in the years prior. I thought about naming it Incel & Sad Gurl Bop... but Thought a shortened "death and rebirth" was more appropriate
    Lyrics:
    Free
floating through the ether guiding sea
    safe within eternal darkness
We want this, we want this, forever
We want this, we want this for now.
    I can see
ripped from peace, a brightness calling me
    lost, surrounded, screaming, feeling
I want this, I want this forever
I want this, I want this whole life.
    Listening
there’s beauty, life and love surrounding me
so much feeling Its hard to take in
I’m scared but, I want this forever
I want this I want this whole life
I can hear them fight about me
All the things I can’t be.
I got carried away, someone take me away.
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
No one asked this of me, I just miss being free.
    I just have to…
    …believe
That good will come from god and not from me,
    broken, useless, lost in ecstasy
    Terrified of made up boundaries
I want this I want this forever.
I want this I want this for now.
I see them laugh on the screens
of things that apply to me
    They see we’re in pain
    yet they gain and complain
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
    I can see peace
a dawn arrival speeding from the east
the tracks are cold there’s people watching me
    the tracks are cold.
    The tracks are
    Free
    floating
    broken, useless, lost in ecstasy
    Terrified of made up boundaries
I want this I want this forever.
I want this I want this for now.
I see them laugh on the screens
of things that apply to me
    They see we’re in pain
    yet they gain and complain
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.
    I just want to escape.

  • Lost In The Noise
    [Verse]
Everywhere I turn, I see it on display
The art of music slowly drifts away
A generation consumed by the digital sway
But do they really know what they're losing, anyway?
    [Verse 2]
It used to be a journey, a soulful escape
When melodies spoke, hearts would vibrate
But now it's all about the likes and the shares
The true essence of music lost in the air
    [Chorus]
We're lost in the noise, drowned in the sea
Of auto-tuned voices, devoid of authenticity
Let's bring back the magic, rediscover the thrill
Because music's worth is what we need to fulfill
We're lost in the noise, drowned in the sea
Of manufactured hits, devoid of harmony
Let's bring back the magic, rediscover the thrill
Because music's worth is what we need to fulfill
    [Bridge]
In the digital cacophony, where voices blend
Human touch and AI's hand, together we'll mend
The harmony lost in the noise's cruel sway
A collaboration to bring back music's true way
    [Chorus]
Lost in the noise, adrift in the tide
Of synthesized tunes, where authenticity hides
But let's bridge the gap, find the magic still
In the union of human soul and AI's skill

  • I Know You're Sad, But Have You Tried Being Subjugated By Our WarLord And Savior?
Kill your enemies Fun and fancy free
It’s just them and we and They are worse than me. We’ve been feeding fear
    for unknown years. Kicking apathy.
    Kicking sympathy.
We are gods at sea on the evergreen Crafting untold myths.
Let’s hope that it lasts And that it ends fast.
Let’s hope that this lasts And that it ends fast.
We’ve been here before. We’ll be here again.
My friend, it’s so wonderful. My friend, you’re so beautiful. When you can’t, we can’t When you thrive, we thrive.
Won’t you hold my hand? We will start and end. We’re just happenstance— what if there’s just one chance.
    Lows won’t be lows forever
    That’s what I tell myself.
There’s no game. There’s no stress.
There’s just floating atoms in our heads
    And we’re sick. Really sick.
    Reflected monsters in our selves.
    We’re hurt. We’re all hurt.
    Are you Sleeping? rarely sleeping.
    Whatcha dreaming? Is there meaning?
You’re just sleeping. You’re just sleeping
We’re just sleeping I’m just sleeping
    Let’s hope that it lasts
    Let’s hope it ends fast.
    This feeling could last,
And yeah it might end fast,
    This feeling won’t last,
    Don’t worry it ends fast.

  • Roam
    I can’t believe this,
    all that has happened
Will someone help us stop the world we’ve lost control
    These inner feelings
    vague cosmic beings
the more I strive the more I feel i’m losing hope
    I guess that I’ll just
    Roam
    It’s rapturous
I’m shouting at myself in public
    talking to myself
    I’m your
    Tantalus
I’ll tear open my love to feed you
    only for myself
    Sweet chaos demon
    now is your season
lift the facade that someone’s actually is in control
    there is no reason
    there’s only eden
and those that barricade it off from all the world.
    Don’t you wish that
Don’t you wish that we could take their thrones?
    No, that’s just me?
I’m Shouting at myself in public
    talking to myself.
    Pledge your will to thee
the world could do with much less pleasure
    keep it to ourselves.
    our age lacks reason
    were all just preaching
to the choir cashing in on all our souls
    They’ll start to weaken
    Our hope is legion
so fuck it all lets give them one hell of a show.
    Blood and avarice
I’m shouting at myself in public
    talking to myself
    I’m your tantalus
    I’ll tear open…
I’ll tear open my love to feed you only for myself

  • The One With That Anti-Nostaliga, Nostalgic, Pop-Punk, Emo, Country Song
    Yeah we’re all old now,
    Madness creeping round.
    Who can we blame now?
Why suddenly are you in my head
So suddenly all that’s left unsaid
    Do you hear me too.
    Late nights, and longer days
    Red cups, that emo phase
    I don’t miss it all
    Phone calls at 3am
    Drunk fights, that awful band
I don’t miss it at all.
I don’t miss it at all.
    Stuff is scary now,
    Past is screaming out,
    Back to hold us down.
    There are no sacred cows
    Murder your self doubt
    Fuck it, be here now
    You’re not 18 anymore.
You have been so much more.
    Are you with me here?
    Late nights, and longer days
    Red cups, that emo phase
    I don’t miss it all
    Phone calls at 3am
    Drunk fights, that jealous friend
    I don’t miss it at—
—Do you remember when we…? I don’t want to.
Back in the day we used to…? I don’t need to.
    We are broken enough.
    We have broken so much.
    Late nights, and longer days
    Red cups, that emo phase
    I don’t miss it all
    Phone calls at 3am
    Drunk fights, that awful friend
I don’t miss it at all.
I don’t miss it at all
I don’t. Miss it at all

  • Something Went Wrong (Dearest Krishna, Must I Play Pop-Punk?)
There’s not much time to get this out
I’ve got at most two minutes left
Before I’m sat back at that desk
It’s time to get this off my chest
I didn’t mince my words when I asked you to bury me
We were done and tired then
We were so sick at 17
    Something went wrong
    The timelines fucked beyond repair
    Still we go on
No Plague can stop our Hollow hearts
    Da Da Da
I wish to see the world
I wish to see all of your faces
    I wish you the best
I wish for living fucking wages
I didn’t mince my words when I asked you to slaughter me
We were sick and tired then
We were so done at 23
    Something went wrong
    The timelines fucked beyond repair
    Still we go on
No Plague can stop our broken hearts
    Da Da Da
    Let’s make this right
Let’s start right here right now tonight
    Scream out these words
Our hearts are where we need to start
I didn’t mince my words when I gave up my apathy
It’s been half a life since then.
How the fuck am I 33?
    Something went wrong
    The timelines fucked beyond repair
    Still we go on
No Plague can stop our hungry hearts
    Da Da Da
    Something went wrong
    The timelines fucked beyond repair
    Still we go on
No Plague can stop our hungry hearts

  • Too Bad (Song Of The Summer 2024)
I don't know where to go right now,
    I need to start again.
The sounds from the radio all blur.
    I need to start again.
It's been two years and I'm stuck here.
    I need to start again
I can't escape from my self hate
    I need to start again
And it's too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not healthy.
Too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not sane.
My heart is a fortress there's no space.
    I need to start again.
My mind is a mattress filled with pain,
    I need to start again.
My eyes are wide, I need a sign.
    Help Me start again
I dread my fate is to die a waste.
    I need to start again.
And it's too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not healthy.
Too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not sane.
too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not healthy.
Too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not sane.
My eyes are wide, I need a sign.
    Help Me start again
I dread my fate is to die a waste. I need to start again.
And it's too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not healthy.
Too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not sane.
And it's too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not healthy. Too bad, too bad, too bad, I'm not sane.

About RalphPuma

From the publisher's feed

Ralph Puma isn't your conventional emo artist. Hailing from the vibrant backdrop of Yonkers, just beyond the pulse of New York City, he's been fueled by an unyielding drive to push boundaries. His musical journey mirrors his eclectic experiences across the map. From the sun-kissed melodies of Florida's pop-punk scene to the gritty tapestry of New York's hardcore and introspective pop, and the rebellious spirit of So-Cal punk in San Diego, every stop has shaped his sound. Yet, it's Nashville where he discovered the soul of songwriting, a place nearest and dearest to his heart.
