An international Siyum celebrating the completion of Sefer Nezikin featuring addresses by Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, Dean of the Institute of American and Talmudic Law, and Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor, Head Shliach of Thailand. On the first day of Pesach, Chassidim the world over completed the eleventh book of the Rambam, Sefer Nezikin. A virtual Siyum, organized once again by rambam.today, took place tonight, in conjunction with Chol Hamoed and the Rebbe’s father’s birthday. The Siyum featured Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe from Springfield, MA, a world-renowned Dean at the Institute of American and Talmudic Law. Drawing on the legal theme of Sefer Nezikin, Rabbi Yaffe shared some of his expertise in the intricacies of Halacha and how they interplay with contemporary law. Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor, Head Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Thailand, who is B’hashgacha Pratis spending Pesach by the Rebbe this year. Rabbi Kantor was a bochur when the Rebbe established Takonas Harambam and shared words of inspiration and chizuk. The program was hosted by the popular Rabbi Raleigh Resnick of the Tri-Valley, CA, and concluded with a trivia challenging our viewers to their mastery of Sefer Nezikin.
