When we’re utterly convinced of the truth of Christ's resurrection, and when we know personally the presence and power of His Holy Spirit, we can’t help but speak about Him.

Incredible things were happening in and around the church in Jerusalem. People are healed, demons are cast away, and the church explodes with growth.

The Lord's stretching out His hand to heal.

Jesus' name contains the power to heal and perform signs and wonders. (Acts 4:30)

There’s power in the name of Jesus, but if we never expect God to do great things, we likely won’t recognize it when He does them. God continues doing incredible things in and through His people because it demonstrates His power and glory.

The signs and miracles and healings have a purpose – they prove that Jesus is the Son of God and that you should believe Him (John 20:31).

The power and holiness of God motivates Christians to seek personal holiness. For the church to grow, Christians need a proper fear of God and a desire for holiness.

God has sent His Son not as a shadow of complete healing, but as the One who comes and makes all things new.
