In this brief presentation, originally prepared for the Ekimogun Association of Canada 2025 Youth End-of-Year Celebration, I explore the Ondo identity and the historical roots of the Ondo Kingdom through scholarly sources. Cultural preservation is not just about celebrating our traditions; it also means studying, documenting, and passing on our history using credible knowledge. I also reflect on the importance of credible information in documenting, understanding, and preserving our collective heritage.
