Where In The Hel Do You Think You're Going? A Lesson on Germanic Heathen Worldviews On Death. - Sunday, March 12th 2-4pm CST, Cason Trailhead Park, Murfreesboro, TN
The skaldic poem that I mention during this episode is called "Austrfararvísur". It mentions the Christian skald Sigvatr Þórðarson (995–1045 CE) as he traveled through Sweden on a diplomatic mission to jarl Ragnvald Ulfsson. While en-route he and his companions sought out a place to stay for the night. He was refused hospitality at three different heathen farmsteads because it was the sacred time of Álfablót and he was Christian.
