A recent nuclear disaster unleashes a horde of irradiated zombies on a large city and the viewer is forced to watch a bunch of brain-dead idiots try to fight off an untold number of other brain-dead idiots, who ironically often end up being smarter than their victims.

Six separate stories very loosely connected together by an encompassing animated narrative and a rock and roll leaning soundtrack.

A detective has to track down and kill a ruthless monster, slaughtering people in Los Angeles. But he's really not very good at his job, and has to rely on the help of everyone around him to do it.

While filming a movie recreating the gruesome deaths at a hotel decades earlier, the production goes awry when the ghosts of the massacre start abducting and possessing the cast and crew. Turns out trying to film at the exact location of the crime was a bad idea. Who knew?

I'm sure after all that, most of them wish they'd just gone down with the damn boat.

An innocent doctor accidentally takes a mystery drug that turns him into a bloodthirsty vampire....or a giant bat with epidermal issues...I'm still not too sure about that.
